Card making fun

I got to make some fun birthday cards this last week. I am blessed with 2 great pals...Jamie and Debbie, who just happen to have birthdays within a week of each other. I just knew I had to make them each a card...and this is what I did.

The card above was for Jamie. I just loved the October Afternoon papers...those little deer are so cute. I just loved the way it all came together!

And this one was for Debbie.
I had a wonderful time with the girls today and also with another friend...Melissa.
We had a lovely lunch celebration and dined on delicious homemade chili, corn casserole, spinach salad and yummy pumpkin treats...oh and carrot cake cupcakes for the birthday girls.
It was a lovely way to spend the first day of fall-like weather (rain mixed with snow). I love these girls so much and they are a great blessing to me. They listen when I need to vent and seem to know when I need a little pick-me-up!

This LO was done with some of my Studio Calico kits.....

What a wonderful day that was!

This LO just makes me smile...giggle a little even. My kids can be so goofy sometimes....and seeing their Dad in his goggles, assures me of where they get it from!!
I just love those darn THICKERS letters...and these are the puffy kind. I love the dimension they give to my pages!

Her is Michaela loosing a tooth. She wanted it out SOOOO bad that she let Daddy yank it out with a string! She was so nervous at first but then it was all smiles as soon as she saw the tooth.
She called her smile "her lucky grin" cause she was getting a treat from the tooth fairy!

And finally this is Cinnamon, Michaela's cat. She is the cutest darn thing.
Well, I have been trying to get some more things done. I have a few "in progress' LO's on the table right now...so who knows maybe by the end of the weekend I will have some more to share!

A new Look....

Thought I would change things up a bit for the holiday season....I am excited for the new look and was hoping this would get my creative juices flowing...so we will have to see. check back later for some newly finished LO's.....
