Happy Birthday...Haylee

Posted by Picasa
I just LOVE making these name banners. What better personalized gift??? Haylee is Michaela's friend and she had her birthday party on Saturday. Michaela helped pick out the papers and some of the other little embellishments. It was fun and perfect for a birthday gift.
So, anyhow, HAPPY BIRTHDAY HAYLEE!

20 Minute Project

I bought this clock last night at Wally-world...it was a whopping $3.76. It was perfect for my scrapbook room. I didn't have a clock in there yet...and I smelled a quick and easy project! I think the longest part of this little project was picking out which patterned paper to use. Way too many choices! Anyhow, I popped the front plastic cover off, traced the circumference of the cover (which will be the right size for the "face"), popped off the clock hands (be real careful, especially if the hands are metal, you don't want to bend them.) Then I placed the cut pp over the face of the clock and gently rub your finger over the center to make an indentation, so you know where to punch the hole for the hands. Decorate the new "face" and then put everything back together. Voila! A cute custom made clock for any room!

Thank you Card

Just thought i would share this thank you card I made for a friend. The patterened paper is Basic Grey and the bird is an Imaginsce stamp. The journal card is from 7gypsies and rub ons are Autumn Leaves, Prima flower and a brad. I watercolored the bird and hand wrote some of the journaling. I love making these quick little cards.

Birthday Cake Album

Well, here is my latest creation. I'm not quite finished yet. I still have a few pages to get done. But the album it's self is about finished. I got the idea from 2 peas (I think) ...I look at so many different places sometimes it's hard to remember where I saw what.
Anyhow, I have been wanting to do something for Caleb's 12 birthday (which was in December....I'm only a few months behind) but anyhow....he's grown up sooo much ...from 11 to 12. I'm having a great time working on this...and it will be even more fun to teach it as a class for Keepsakes By Design next month. So enjoy.

And a few for Adam...

Len got this "Harley" for his birthday a few years ago! I think the kids had just as much fun playing with it as he did!

I just love this photo of Adam...he truly is "A Star"
A boy and his best friend!

A few layouts for Caleb

I just fell in love with the new Basic Greay Archaic line. This is was one of my BEST finds while in California for CHA/ Scrapbook Expo! I knew right away what photos I would be using. I just love how perfect it was for these Museum of the Rockies photos!

I love this page, too. Especially my $1 chipboard letters from the $1 store! Man, I love a good deal.

Same photos...different layouts

(These are for Michaela's album)
I so often use the exact same photos for more than one of the kids. This is a great example of how I use the exact same photos but different loyouts. The actual design elements of the LO's are the same...but look how different they look. Being that I use the same photos for more than one child, layouts can be hard to do...especially since I just CAN NOT dupilcate exactly! I think that is another one of my "quirks". Well that list just keeps getting longer!

(These are for Caleb's album...I know kind of girlie but I just couldn't resist!))
